The president of FEMEVAL, Vicente Lafuente, visited Andreu's facilities last May to mark 50 years of manufacturing high-quality metal doors for industrial and residential use in the national and international markets.
During the tour, Lafuente was accompanied by FEMEVAL Executive Committee member José Ramón Roca, the secretary general, Alejandro Soliveres, the director of Institutional Relations, Maite Camps, the director of Training and Talent, Francisco Fideli, and the head of the Industrial Services and Digital Transformation Area, Marcel Cerveró, who learned first-hand about Andreu's history as well as its plans for the coming years.
Over the years, Andreu Barberá has become a large, solid company and the leading Spanish brand in the metal doors sector. For more than 50 years, Andreu has not stopped launching new products, always of its own design, to meet the increasingly complex needs required by the market and regulations.
The great capacity of its resources and facilities has enabled it to take part in emblematic projects all over the world, such as the Palacio de la Zarzuela, the Wanda Metropolitano, Spain's base in Antarctica, the City of Arts and Sciences in València, the CaixaForum in Seville, large retail centres, hospitals, airports, metro lines, oil platforms, etc.
The president of FEMEVAL highlighted the level of excellence that has prevailed in this family business for 50 years. “An attitude and unity that have enabled them to become a true benchmark in the metal sector and that will surely lead them to achieve all the goals they set themselves. A real example to follow,” he said after congratulating the representatives of Andreu Barberá on this anniversary. The company, through its president and founder, Mr Vicente Andreu Bort, thanked him both for his congratulations and for today's visit.
