Andreu Barberá answers Asivalco’s call to fight COVID19

Andreu Barberá S.L., a Paterna-based manufacturer of metal doors, has donated to Paterna City Council 9,000 units of various items of personal protective equipment (PPE), including FFP1 and FFP2 masks, safety goggles and disposable coveralls.

Andreu Barberá supports ASIVALCO in helping the fight against #covid19. To this end, the Purchasing Department drew on its contacts in Asia to source various items of Personal Protective Equipment. It was a complicated task, but in the end 9,000 items of PPE were purchased, including FFP1 and FFP2 masks, safety goggles and disposable coveralls.

With this donation, Andreu, a family company based in the Fuente del Jarro industrial estate, has helped the council protect the city’s groups most exposed to Covid-19, such as the Local Police, Civil Protection, care home workers, shopkeepers, employees of the public company Gespa and healthcare centre staff.

The Mayor of Paterna, Juan Antonio Sagredo, together with Deputy Mayor José Manuel Mora, thanked Alejandro Andreu, Production Director and CEO, and Alberto Talavera, Purchasing Director, who came to the town hall on behalf of the whole company, for this generous gesture, which will support the fight against this pandemic. Last year Andreu Barberá S.L. was awarded the Gold Insignia of the Town of Paterna for its long business track record in the municipality.
