“25 Years Together” was the gala held on 21 February by TECNIFUEGO-AESPI, the Spanish Association of Fire Protection Companies, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of its foundation, at which Andreu Barberá, S.L., as sponsor of this unique event, presented two of the awards given to the founding companies of the Association.
The main mission of TECNIFUEGO-AESPI, of which Andreu has been a member since March 2004, sitting on the Doors Committee and also on the Passive Protection Products Committee, is to promote the quality of services and products for real and effective fire protection, to ensure professionalism in the sector by taking part in Standardisation and Regulation at national and international level, and to raise awareness of fire risk and the importance of prevention. TECNIFUEGO-AESPI is also the recognised representative of the industrial sector before the Administration and the various private and public bodies. In addition, among other activities, the Association organises training and information sessions aimed at both installers and end users.
The work carried out within the TECNIFUEGO-AESPI Committees, in which Andreu actively participates, is fundamental to the development of Fire Protection (PCI) in Spain, where fire doors, a product in which Andreu is a European benchmark, are a vital element.
