On 14 June, Andreu took part in the course given at the Official College of Architects of Madrid (COAM) on “The project and fire safety (CTE-DB-SI)”, as a Sponsor, funding scholarships for three students.
The course Director, Mr José Luis Posada Escobar, a retired technical officer of the Ministry of Housing, introduced José Vicente Andreu and Juan Vicente Alamá, who had the opportunity to explain how Andreu fire doors comply with regulations, as well as the essential requirements imposed by current legislation.
The course focused on familiarising students with the parameters that shape the design and creation of a building, on compliance with regulations and the comments on the Technical Building Code published by the Ministry of Public Works, and on answering any questions they might have regarding fire doors.
