Andreu sees all its expectations exceeded at FIPA 2017, which closes its doors after a great success in attendance

14 March 2017

The excellent results with which the first edition of the International Automatic Doors Fair, held from 8 to 10 February, came to a close allow us to look forward with great enthusiasm to the next edition, FIPA 2019.

With more than 70 firms present, including companies, associations and partners, FIPA 2017 proved to be a major event with a strong professional and international character, and a great future.

Andreu took the opportunity to present five different door variants with very interesting automation systems. From a simple Residential door, model Line, with electric opening, to a complex Dictator semi-automatic mechanism for controlling opening and closing on a Rodas sliding fire door, as well as a Fono-Turia acoustic door with a Besam multi-configurable swing system with detection, a Slide multipurpose sliding door with Metalblind double-leaf automation, and a beautiful Sigma Hotel with Tesa Smartair card operation.

But Andreu, as a benchmark in the manufacture of doors and accessories, not only took part in FIPA 2017 as an exhibitor but was also very actively involved in the organisation, promotion and development of the Fair. Proof of this is the participation of José Vicente Andreu, president of the FIPA Fair, in the First International Congress on Automatic Doors as speaker and organiser. José Vicente, as President of the Automatic Doors Association (APA) and Coordinator of the Fire Doors Committee of Tecnifuego-Aespi, presented in his talk the APA Registered Company seal for companies that install and maintain automatic doors: commercial, residential, industrial and fire doors. The APA seal will attest to the professional competence of the company holding it for the installation and maintenance of automatic doors.
