Andreu presents its new Watertight Multipurpose and Fire Doors

14 September 2023

With the aim of continuing to offer our customers new products and solutions tailored to their needs, Andreu is launching its new line of Watertight doors, the result of significant development work to achieve different levels of performance in air permeability, watertightness and resistance to wind load.

The tests to examine Air Permeability are defined by standards EN1026:2017 and EN12207:2017, which regulate the performance a door must achieve when subjected to a test with positive or negative pressures.

Watertightness, for its part, is specified by standards EN1027:2000 and EN12208:2000, which determine a door’s ability to resist water penetration up to a certain pressure.

Finally, Resistance to Wind Load is assessed through tests in accordance with standards EN12211:2017 and EN12210:2017, which define the assembly’s ability to resist deterioration caused by wind loads. To do so, the relative frontal deflection is measured and inspected.
