Andreu presents its new Multipurpose Weather Performance Doors and Fire Doors

14/09/2023

With the aim of continuing to offer our customers new products and solutions that adapt to their needs, Andreu launches its new line of Weather Performance doors, where significant development work has been carried out to obtain different features, regarding air permeability, watertightness and wind load resistance.

The tests to examine the Air Permeability are defined by the standards EN1026:2017 and EN12207:2017, which regulate the performance that a door must achieve when tested with positive or negative pressures.

The Watertightness, likewise, is specified by the EN1027:2000 and EN12208:2000 standards, determining the capacity of a door to resist the penetration of water, up to a certain pressure.

Finally, the Resistance to Wind Load is evaluated through tests in accordance with the EN12211:2017 and EN12210:2017 standards, which define the ability of the doorset to resist damage due to wind loads. To do this, the relative deflection is measured and inspected.
